Joycelyn Ann Dichtl Trosclair passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald P. Trosclair and her parents, Lillian Clew Dichtl and Hans Dichtl, her sister, Dorothy Youngblood. Joycelyn is survived by her children, Regina Jackson (Harry), Jeanne Ferraro (David), Donald E. Trosclair, and Hans J. Trosclair; grandchildren, Jessica Keiser (Roy), Aaron Ferraro (Lacey), Katelyn Jackson, Kristina Jackson, Jenna Jackson and the late Steven Riddle; great grandchildren, Koda Jackson, Dominick Jackson, Henri Keiser, also survived by nieces and nephews, Joycelyn was a retired Orleans Parish Public School Teacher, a recipient of the St. Louis Medallion for St. Brigid Parish, where she served on the Pastoral Council and was also a Lector. She taught CCD classes at St. Brigid as well as St. Agnes where she served as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharistic. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 12:00 Noon with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 am. Interment will be in Lake Lawn Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred. Condolences may be expressed online at www.schoencanalstreet.com.
