To the family,
I worry and hurt to hear the news that took place ending Ms. Pulley's life. I have prayed for the family and all who knows God realize that there will be a time for us all and we don't know how we too will leave this earth, therefore we must keep our minds on the good days of her life along with remembering that earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal. Words cannot express the shock I felt when I heard the news of Sharon's passing. There is nothing that can describe the feeling of knowing that someone you know or familiar with has gone home to Glory. It is a sad occasion, but it is also a joyful one. We should rejoice in her being called home. She has done her worldly deeds and God has called her home and welcomed her with outstretched arms saying, "Servant, well done." Everyone who has had Sharon cross their path should be grateful to have met her and have memories to hold dear. God Bless you Sharon and may you forever rest in peace.

Dear Mrs. Pulley, Karen, and family,
There are times along life's journey that can test the spirit deeply. Though this is certainly one of those times, may you never stop believing that your faith, your inner strength, and the power of God's love will carry you through. I am so heartbroken and in disbelief, yet, I cannot imagine what you are going through. Sharon was an angel on earth, and now she is an angel in heaven. We will see her again for all eternity when we get to the other side. May you feel the presence of our Lord's comfort, strength and love as you go through this most difficult time.
Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Janice, Jerry, Jason and Justin

My most sincere condolences to the Pulley Family. I did not know Sharon Pulley personally, but I remember her name and associated that name with a Senior at McDonogh 35, when I was a freshman and I remember her being a Majorette. I remember her being tiny in size but she stood tall just like all the other Beautiful and Statuesque McD 35 Majorettes!!! I admired the "Class" of Mrs Benjamin's girls. I could not twirl a baton, so I became an Eaglette. May Sharon now stand tall with the Angels and may the LORD give comfort and peace to her loved ones still here. Blessings....

From Phyllis Wheatley Elementary School, to A.J. Bell Junior High School, and finally McDonogh#35 Senior High School...our immediate neighborhood that extended from North Claiborne Avenue to Broad Street, and Orleans Avenue to Ursuline...the many "Carnival" (Mardi Gras) parades that we marched in and all the fun days in the "Old 35" school building, across the street from the Municipal Auditorium...you and all those memories will forever reside in my heart; the life and times of our youth.
I still have a very vivid image of Ms. Joyce and Ms. Yvonne; standing outside of Mrs. Eula May Lee Brown's classroom...smiling and chatting, and looking like "our" version of Donna Reed or Mrs. Ward Cleaver. That was forever and a day, ago, but I remember.
I hope your life was pleasant and filled with joy and the love of Christ, Jesus, as well as with that of your wonderful close-knit family, and whomever you called, "friend".
May we meet again, on the other side.
I extend my deepest and most heart-felt condolences to Ms. Joyce, Karen, Ms. Yvonne, Dudley & Charisse, Janice & The Sanders Family, Laverne & Hermanese, and all other family, friends and former classmates and schoolmates. May the Lord comfort and grant His peace, that surpasses all understanding.

Karen, I am praying that God will comfort and strengthen the family during this time. May you continue to feel His loving arms wrapped around you as the minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years pass. God is able to fill the void.
John 14:1-4 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
