It is so hard to see or greet you at this moment, this so frightening. I didn't know your son personally but felt like I did. Over the years hearing about your son success in football, my brothers Terry and Carl have always spoken well regarding your son as well as you and your brother (Chocolate). Rhonda, this is a devastation, of your loss and overwhelming for both parents. Who can ever prepare for their child to die before them? What I do know that you come from a good stock. The support that you are receiving from your family, friends his high school friends and college friends. Let's not forget about our L B Landry Buccaneers, that says a lot about you and your family. You have many memories of your child which is a beautiful blessing. Allow me to hug you from a distance. Please understand my mind and soul is there with you through all your pain. But know that Tonka is watching over you and saying mommy I got this. I see you I hear you and mommy I love. Mommy my body is gone but my soul is here with you. GOD is your therapeutic healer.

Mrs. George and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to meet Tonka on a few of my trips to Alcorn, he and my son Jordan Payne #7 were suitemates. He always greeted me with a hug and a smile. He was so polite. The heartbreak and hurt I have is in no way comparable to you and your families, but please know that we are mourning this loss with you. We will continue to pray for your family as well. Please accept my heartfelt prayers, sympathy and love.
