Davidson Stockton Ehle, Jr., known as Tim to his family and Dave to his friends, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:20 AM at the age of 76. He was born in New Orleans, LA May 15, 1937 to the late Davidson Stockton Ehle, Sr. and the late Marietta Anne Adey Ehle. He is the beloved father of Kimberly Elizabeth Ehle, Davidson Stockton Ehle, III. (Geraldine), and the late Karen Erica Ehle Catalanotto. He is Paw-Paw Booda to Jason Michael Catalanotto, Kathryn Morgan Ehle, and Karen Elaine Ehle. He is the beloved brother of Susan Stockton Ehle of Franklin, NC and Marietta ""Missy"" Elizabeth Ehle Haydel Ernst of Luling, LA. He is the beloved nephew of Herbert Fitzhugh Adey, II of Austin, TX. He is the beloved uncle of Susan Elizabeth Haydel and Dr. Shelley Erin Haydel (Trey) of Mesa, AZ. He is survived by his devoted former wife Karen Offner Ehle Bordelon and her spouse and dearest friend Byron Benjamin Bordelon, III. He is survived by his devoted former mother-in-law Dorothy Schlindwein Offner. He is also survived by several cousins, friends and neighbors. He was a 1961 graduate of the first OCS school of the Louisiana National Guard where he obtained the rank of Captain in the 225th Engineering Division before he retired in 1968. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
