Joyce Dusang Caruso passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the age of 78. She was the cherished wife of Vincent B. Caruso Sr. Loving mother of Vickie C. Rogerson, Vivian C. Senez and Vincent B. Caruso Jr. Daughter of the late Victor and Louise Dusang. Sister of Cathy Cassagne, Millie McCall, Judy Bordelon, Diane Relan, Frank, Alfred, Paul, George & Louis Dusang and the late Joan Rome and Julius Dusang. Proud grandmother of Jessica, David, T.J., Corey, Valerie, Blake, Krysta and Amanda. Great grandmother of Whitney, Preston and Grayson. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Joyce was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, currently residing in Slidell, LA. She enjoyed a long career with the St. Bernard Parish Clerk of Court and was an honored member of the Palm Lake Anglers Club. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, April 7th from 9:30AM - 1:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to David Senez, Jr. Foundation for Brain Cancer Awareness preferred.
