Born July 23, 1949 in New Orleans, La.; a veteran in the United States Army National Guard; and the Tribal Chief of the Wild Tchoupitoulas Indians passed away on December 20, 2013. Cherishing his memories are his mother, Mercedes Massey Madison Stevenson; one son, Larry Madison Jr.; four sister, Lynn Madison (Maurice), Glenda Steverson, Shelia Landry Stevenson, Sheila Landry Stevenson, Mary Kim Stevenson (Sylvester); three brothers,Jerry Madison, Calvin, Jerome Stevenson; two grandchildren, Brittany and Arron Madison; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, the late James Madison. Funeral Services will be held at Austerlitz Baptist Church 819 Austerlitz Street, New Orleans, LA 70115, on Friday, January 3, 2014 with services at 11:00 a.m. and Viewing 10:00 A.M.
