Octave Joseph Berthelot Jr. passed away on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at the age of 82. Octave was a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Monroe, LA. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Kastner Berthelot. Son of the late Octave Sr. and Inez Berthelot, father of the late Penny Berthelot. Survived by his children Melinda LaLa and Neil Berthelot ( Tiffany), his grandchildren Penny LaLa an Savannah Berthelot, Sisters Joyce Daige and Merliene Berthelot. Octave served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict. Later he became a manager with F.W. Woolworth Company until his retirement after 48 years. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral Thursday July 10, 2014 in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA at 7:00 pm. Friends may call after 6:00 pm.
