A resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away at 6:30 am on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at her son and daughter-in-law's home. She was 88 and a native of Greensburg, LA. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Visiting will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Old Jefferson Hwy., on Thursday, July 10, from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am celebrated by the Rev. Phil Spano. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory on Jefferson Hwy. Survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Jasper G. Boudreaux; son and his wife, Tom and Diana Boudreaux; son and his wife, Michael and Theresita Boudreaux; daughter and her husband, Cherry and Forest Pitre; ten grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Viola and Grady Nettles; grandson, Brian Boudreaux; two sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jason Pitre, Alex Lamabe, Mark and David Boudreaux, Jeff and Bradley Boudreaux. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
