Woodruff Louis "Billy" Camus III A Marine Veteran, departed this life on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the age of 52. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and spent the first 5 years in Algiers; then moving to Kenner where he resided until moving to Covington in 2001. Graduate of Atonement Lutheran School and Bonnebal High School. Beloved son of Woodruff "Woody" Camus, Jr. and Carol Van Hees Camus. Brother of Elizabeth Camus Gagnon (Marc). Father of Woodruff (Woody) Camus IV (Vena) and Logan Camus. Grandfather to Alexa Grace Camus. Uncle to Joshua McDowell. Grandson of the late Bill and Eunice Camuss, J. W. and Theresa Van Hees and Elaine Van Hees. Billy was employed by Fabcon at the time of his death; and worked in the Oilfield Industry for many years. Billy loved to hunt and fish; he loved the wild outdoors. He had a kind and generous heart. He will be greatly missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 12:00 PM.
