Elizabeth "Bess" Bose Cerise passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the age of 90. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her life. She was the cherished wife of the late Victor Eugene Cerise Jr. Loving mother of Mike "Doc" Cerise (Maryanne), Vicki Kennedy (David), Chris Terranova, Kitty Bode (Terry Sr.), Vic Cerise (Ann Marie) and Roberta Fisher (Craig). Proud grandmother of Tina Piazza, Tommy Piazza (Denise), Michael Piazza (Monique), Tony Terranova (Kerri), Jeremy Terranova (Tina), Terry Bode Jr. (Angelle), Todd Bode (Gina), Timmy Bode, Victor Cerise IV, Alexandra Cerise, Keith Mason Jr., Kayla Mason, Ryan Fisher and Michelle O'Brien. Sister of Bill Bose (Margie), A.J. Bose and the late Margaret Dawson and Warren Bose. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her 16 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Elizabeth was a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish, where she enjoyed serving as a Eucharistic Minister for many years with St. Robert Bellarmine Church. She was well loved and will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to many, who treasured her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, March 21st from 9:30AM - 11:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Elizabeth's memory at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA beginning at 12:00PM.
