Edna Harrison Reed, peacefully passed to her heavenly reward at the age of 85 on Monday, March 24, 2014, after having dedicated her life to her husband of 68 years and her family. She was born April 2, 1928 in New Orleans, LA., the youngest of nine (9) children born to the union of the late Albert and Lucinda Harrison. She was also preceded in death by one (1) son Tyrone Reed; four (4) brothers Albert Jr., Murphy, Clifton and Clifton Harrison; three (3) sisters, Lillian, Mildred Harrison and Mildred Harrison Mullen; one (1) grandson Tyree' Tanner. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband Oliver P. Reed Jr.; three (3) sons, Oliver P. Reed III, Lionel Reed and Larry Reed Sr.; brother Charles Harrison Sr.; niece (who was like her daughter) Doris Brown; fifteen (15) grandchildren, Larry Jr., Malikak, India, Phillip, Desmond, Demond, Oliver IV, Sonya, Quinton, Jason, Iriel, Oliver, Lionel, Tamekia and Jamiron; twenty-five (25) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 am on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Ave., Rev.
