Grady E. Bullock, Sr., was born on June 4, 1933, and passed away on June 10, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was 81 years old and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He grew up on a farm outside of Hazlehurst, Mississippi, as one of eleven children to Samuel and Lottie Griffith Bullock. After serving in the Navy, he attended Copiah-Lincoln Junior College in Wesson, Mississippi, and it was there that he met Annette Case who became his wife. They had four children and recently marked their 60th wedding anniversary. In 1972 he founded B & H Air Tools, and took great pride in its growth and success. He sold the company and another business eight years ago; however, much of his business model for B & H continues to exist as branches of Delta Rigging and Tools. In retirement he enjoyed frequent trips to a second home in Mississippi and spending time with family. He liked nothing better than a big get-together with his children, grandchildren and three great-granddaughters. He was a sports fan with a particular love for football, which he played in his youth. Grady is survived by his children, Deborah Nault and husband David; Grady Bullock, Jr. and wife Mary, Theresa Davis and husband Joseph, and Clifford Bullock and wife Barbara; sister, Sarintha Bullock Buras; grandchildren, Tara Davis Amaya and husband Juan David, Bryan Davis, David Nault, Jr., Rachel Nault, Sara Bullock Passman and husband Garron, Mark Case Bullock, Claire Bullock, Daniel Bullock, and Madeline Davis White and husband Vance; great-grandchildren, Madeline's three daughters, Alaina, Natalie and Josephine. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 11:00 am until service time.
