Lawrence ""Larry"" Trimball Evans passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Ochsner Medical Center, Jefferson, LA. Beloved husband of Ava Nell Stone Evans for thirteen years. Loving father of Kurt M. Evans, Sr. (Jennifer), Lawrence J. Evans, Sr. (Trisha) and Tammy E. Resetar (Eddie) and step-father of Ava Yates, Vaughn Hoke (Lacey) and the late Vincent Hoke, Jr. Grandfather of Courtney, Kurt, Jr., Lawrence J., Jr., Heather and Tyler; step-grandfather of Meagan, Anthony, Madysen, Annalise, Vaughn, Jr., Dominick, Johnny, Tiffany and Vanna. Great-grandfather of Evan, Christen and Aiden; step-great-grandfather of Bryleigh and Kaelynn. Son of the late Wyatt Evans and Rose Lopiparo Evans. Brother of Juanita Ducarpe and Patricia Herrmann. Former husband of Adeline W. Evans, mother of Kurt, Lawrence and Tammy. Mr. Evans, age 81 years, was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Pearl River, LA for the past 13 years. He was a master carpenter and superintendent and worked for 52 years in the construction industry. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Union. In addition, he was proud to have served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and photography. He also loved the time he was able to spend with his dogs – Patch, Lucy, Daisy, Georgia and Baby, all of whom miss him, as well as the late Big Boy and Spook. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Larry on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Covington Presbyterian Church, 222 S. Jefferson Ave., Covington, LA.
