Idrick you have changed me for the better. I didnt know you as well as my brother and sister but everytime I saw you it was always smiles. I never met someone so positive where you can feel it when they are around you. That was so inspirational so godly. You walk what you talk and that consistency is something I appreciate. We miss you . I got to give you your props the way you came into my friend life and changed everything! You showered her and the kids with nothing but LOVE. Wishing I had another talk with u in the front room boosting my intellect talking about how good life was for y'all at this stage in y'all life and pouring into me as I realized you did for us all. You made growth look intriguing, And I still wanna ask more questions and learn more. From the moment I met you it's been laughter, smiles and pure joy! Gonna miss hearing Tha Ghost (your white truck) pull up, w/me always taking y'all pics telling Tri kick her foot up and you squeezing her And suffocating her with ur kisses, I'll miss our BFF talks though it hurts I'm happy she has the best guardian angel. I could hear u telling me at this very moment, it's okay you got this Tri, Lil Vickyyyy it's gonna be lit...Seems like yesterday we were swing dancing or singing karaoke, dancing in the rain on the rooftop, or you singing Best Part By:Daniel Caesar ft HER extremely loud thru the house, or you combing Sky hair screaming Tootieeee you look cute, how about all of us playing the game n the kids room and you winning every last one of em making Edwin more competitive than he already is...never a dull moment with us. Feels like a void that's destined to be vacant forever, I have so many questions yet the few answers I do have are a bit suffocating but nonetheless they all lead me to 3 words you weren't afraid to use; I Love You. Thanks for teaching me and the kids that that's the greatest gift We could have ever received or even offered. Watching u do so with ease so effortlessly but a true perfectionist never inconsistent never judgemental Always saying Tri God not gone let us suffer, we're gonna be happy like this forever☺ I love you I.d (King Idrickification) that goes without measure pass time pass space; nobody could ever make the ground beneath me shake and tremble the way u have! You gave us your all and then some, it makes living in heaven more than a dream for me now... it's one of the largest goals I have I gotta see you again, I refuse to let u go, to not see my hero, my BFF, the Love of my Life but most of all my guardian angel don't think for one second I'm gonna stop talking to u even tho you're in a different realm! Sky and Edwin wanted me to say how much they knew u loved them, how no one has ever sat down and took the time to really sit with them teach them, inspire them, encourage them, even when E was bad and your example of consequences was taking his game. He learned it wasn't all about Sonic because of you... then you'd sit on that very floor after and tickle them and laugh and make silly faces etc. You are extremely missed at home I... Heaven really couldnt wait for you a lot of statements makes sense now and still don't sit well at the same time. My biggest fear isn't dying but living thru the pain longer than anticipated or merely believing that that entire statement is my truth right now. I love you Idrick, we've went thru a million text msgs and poems like that seems like writing it on here just doesn't fit but as you would say don't run away from your fears tell Ya Daddy(God) bout em, I won't speak of the pain because it's obvious, I just want to stress The Word Love Love Love you moved in it, you lived thru it and left in it. You've changed my life, you've changed the kids life I've never seen no1 effectively Love like you I plan to continue to carry your love and your legacy and our truth for the rest of this life; and when it's finally my time trust I know you'll be there ready to greet me with that beautiful smile extremely happy to show me your new body and all the things you've learned while we were away from each other with open arms stronger then the first ones, never doubting how I feel about u about heaven about the Love God had set up just for this union; I love you will be the first words we utter and hopefully we'll get to say it every second of the heavenly hour. I miss you so much. Words cannot explain. The joy and peace you brought to me. Oh my God. This was a surprise to me if I only knew what God plans was as I look back he did prepare me. I watch the movie The Shack and it taught me how to love other than the one I brought into the world. It taught me we are all God children and he loved all of us the way i lpve the children I brought into the world. Wow what a message. Now that I've learned the word i must do the word. Therefore I must love all my sisters and brothers the same. the guy who did this to you. I know you would do the same if you were put in this position. Our Father knew this day was coming you are with him now I know you are looking down on your immediate family smiling saying don't worry that you are in a better place. I thank GOD for the time HE share you with me, you are a blessing to me. I have taught you a lot of thing how to fix and build, but you have taught me more about life, loving and giving. It's been a month that you've been gone and I can honestly say that I'm still in shock. We would always talk about what Heaven would be like when we got there, I just didn't think that we wouldn't be there at the same time. You were always there when I needed you.
It didn't matter what it was, you always took care of me, you always looked out for me even when I sometimes forgot to look out for myself. The love that you willingly gave to my kids and I on a regular basis, will remain in my heart. I called you lightbright because from the day I met you light constantly poured out of you and filled me up. I proudly called you King because you led me to my own level of personal greatness. I loved you more then I had ever loved any man because I wouldn't be the woman I am today without you. You showed me how to have a personal relationship with God. You taught me how to trust him, and how to be still and listen when I wanted to pack up and run. You heard the voice of God and operated accordingly in my life. And, that was the greatest gift you had ever given me. So, to the love of my life, the man who was my own personal ultra lightbeam, I want to say thank you. Thank you for everything you taught me and still continue to teach me to this day. Every vacation we took, all the conversations we had, the endless amounts of time spent together, every disagreement, every picture, and all the sacrifices we made, are all things I will cherish forever. You will always be the most beautifully brilliant man I have ever known and I'm grateful I had the opportunity to be your best friend. I love you and I look forward to seeing you again.

When I got the phone call and found out you were leaving me my heart sank because I wanted you to stay. My mind began to flood with all the memories we shared together. As I thought about your life on earth I saw that you had the Love that God wanted all of us to have. You had that 1 Corinthians 13 kind of love. It was patient, kind, it kept no record of wrong. It was not self seeking, dishonest, or easily angered. It never failed. You found out what your purpose on earth was and you completed the assignment. I am so glad that you were able to share the kind of love with every person you came in contact with on earth including me. I know that when you reached those heavenly gates God said well done Idrick, well done. I know you had to take your place in heaven but you will be truly missed. Just know that everywhere I go I will take you with me. Everywhere I go I know your right there with me because the heart always remembers.

Hey Idrick, I sent a message to you today as I prayed. It went a little something like this: Youre Family! Youve always been since the moment you dated my cousin lol or before. I hate that I cannot make it to your funeral, but you know where my heart is with you. I wish I could have a few more moments with you but I dont think it works like that.
