Age 69 and a resident of Hammond, Ted went to meet his Heavenly Father on Friday, September 13, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of Vietnam War. Ted was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him, whom will be missed dearly. He loved studying the Bible, listening to the Gospel, being outdoors, farming, gardening, reminiscing about life events, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Ted leaves behind his beloved wife, Suparp "Susie"; son, Paul Hendricks and wife Leslie; daughters: Juanita Duke and husband Michael, Jennifer Vicknair and husband Scott, and Veronica Crowley and husband David; and his pride and joy, his grandchildren: Jacob and Ryan Duke, Hannah and Haley Vicknair, and Violet and Olivia Crowley. Preceding Ted in death were his parents, Robert C. and Lillie Mae McGee Hendricks; and his brother, Gerald W. Hendricks. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Randy Davis will officiate the services assisted by Rev. Derek Wall. Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery Condo- lences and other information are available online at www.thompsoncares.com.
