Black, I'm sure you're having a great time in Heaven, cutting up and making everybody laugh and cut up along with you. You were one of a kind, that's for sure. I wasn't around you often, but the times I was, you were so fun. I'll NEVER forget how good you were to your nieces and nephews, including the pets (and basically everyone you came into contact with; especially the little old ladies at the nursing home). Nor will I forget how we were picking on each other one day and I was getting the better of you; you picked me up and sat me in the dishwater in the kitchen sink, before running out of the trailer cackling like a madman! I never did "pay you back" for that; I'll get you back when God calls me home. Your loved ones that are grieving for you have my deepest sympathy. I'll remember your beautiful smile, fun-loving ways, and kind heart always.

Missing you so much Black (Gary):

The strong Loving Bond that you & Pat had is like no other; everyone knew for sure you all were Brothers! In our hearts, we cherish all the wonderful, especially funny memories of you always laughing, and pulling pranks on us! There just is no other person or substitute for anyone like you! You always did whatever your nieces & nephews wanted you to do. You never told them NO! When we saw that special smile & look in your eyes---we knew you were up to something; but never knew exactly what you'd do. Those memories are like no other!

The loving care you gave to your Mother, Father, all people & animals are just a testament to your awesome character. No matter how bad things were; there you were for all with your smile--and brightened their day! We always admired the love you showered on us. When someone is as loving as you---it truly makes saying good bye even harder to do. To say you are missed is an understatement. Those who really knew you, definitely loved you! I and many others will never, ever forget you. We think of you only with love & fondness; but really miss you with sadness.

The only comfort we have is knowing that you are no longer in pain and we WILL see you again. I know Jesus, your Mom & Dad, along with all your beloved pets were there to Welcome You to your Heavenly Mansion. We also know that your Crown is filled with many jewels.

I Love and Miss You Black. I was proud to help Pat and be a part of taking care of Your Final Wishes; for it was only what You Deserved---the Best. And, that is because You always gave your BEST to us!

Love, and Rest In Peace---Geraldine and Your Favorite Godchild -- Anthony

To My Little Brother,

Ever since we were young kids, all the things we did as we grew up-- we did more things than people believed. We were always there for each other. We had our outs, but we had more good times and so many laughable memories. There are so many things I will never forget. We went our separate ways. I used to like to see you & Daddy on the boat next to me. Ya'll would be arguing over something. Daddy would be sitting there with his cup of coffee & cats. All the while P.J. would be cutting up with ya'll. But most of all you never made the cruise you said you wanted to make. And now you are cruising to Heaven for a better life. I miss you so much. You could not have been a better Little Brother--Son, Brother in Law, Uncle, or Godfather. I have always been proud of you; with your caring & loving ways. You never let me, anyone, or your animals down. You were always there for me, with a laugh, smile, or joke. It is so very hard to say good bye. But, I tried my best with all my Love to send you home the way you wanted to go. I Love You Black! Love Forever, Pat
