Dear Serpas Family and Friends: My name is Father Bob Massett and I was at St. Mark Church from 1975-1988. However, I know Mr. Augie from the summer of 1957 when I played center-field for Mutt's Bar along with Alvin Martinez, Tommy and Mark Sylvera, Ronnie Fernandez and Ray Hanle. Mr. Augie and Wallace Ansardi were our coaches. It was a great way to spend the summer before I entered the seminary. I always looked up to Mr. Augie and I know he is enjoying his life-time achievement award from the Lord Himself. I remembered him at my Mass this morning. Mr. Augie, You were such a blessing to have been able to care for in the last few months. I will definitely miss our little talks and miss your kind spirit. I tried to make you as comfortable as possible, knowing that you were in so much pain. Now, you are peacefully in Heaven with the love of your life (Mrs. Angie), and no longer suffering. You truly will be missed among many. May you R.I.P. and God Bless You... Sincerely, Dawn (Caregiver)
