Please accept the prayers and condolences of the Scheuermann family, Blue pitched for my Dad "Louis Rags Scheuermann" at Delgado Community College! He was a member of Delgados first baseball team! What a tremendous athlete an person he was! I Remember a Game against Butler University that was supposed to be a practice game for Butler, a team in town to play the Univerdity of New Orleans! Dad left home the morning of the game saying his Dolphins would win and we all thought him to be dreaming! We didn't know about his pitcher Morris Harris! Dad thought of him as one of the finest athletes he ever coached! He thought just as much of him as a man! Final score Delgado 1 Butler University 0 , Thank You Morris Harris!! May you rest in peace!!

To a man I thought a lot of. He taught me about respect on and off the court, a coach who believed in his players and not just ability on a court it also mattered what you were doing off the court too. Every time I would see Coach Blue he would always ask me about my family and my kids. I will never forget him that's for sure. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and Coach Blue until we meet again Fly High. May you rest in peace Coach.
