Gary was my cousin..his uncle Bobby was married to my aunt Rose. I had no idea he was living right down the road from myself and my wife. We played together in Chalmette when we were young. I wish I would've known about the services. He was a really great guy. May he rest in peace. God Bless his family.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear this. Gary has always been such a fun, happy person who never stopped smiling and making others smile. I loved when he would take his beloved Bertram to visit us on the Tchefuncte river during the wooden boat festivals. I am truly thankful that I got to spend some quality time with him in recent years relaxing and having fun on our boats at the Wharf in AL. Gary will be sorely missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with Jerry, Ginger and the entire family to help them cope with this terrible loss. Rest in Peace my friend!

I am so very sorry for the loss of Gary. We just cannot seem to wrap our heads around it. Gary's little buddy, Christopher, is devastated. He looked up to him as a mentor and idolized him! I cherish the time that they spent together this summer working on the boat engines and any other machinery they came across. The knowledge and experience he gave to Christopher will live on for a long time to come! Chickasaw Road will feel a great void without Gary there. Love and Peace be with you my friend.

Tricia we haven't meet yet but we will. Gary came into my life 2 years ago when my house. Burnt down. I had been so lost not knowing what to do and taking care of my folks didn't help. I told him God sent me an angel to help me out. My pain I know is not as great as yours. I keep praying to God to take care of my friend . Although we didn't see, Gary, often, we always hoped to see him on our visits to Ron and Erin's. His infectious personality, wit, and positive attitude was truly a tonic for the soul. Tricia and Family- how sad this has all been and such a shock to all. Gary has given us many great memories and good times. Been thinking about all of them - from the best steaks ever - he grilled on Cat Island ,water camping with our boats to a lobster on his head at the Steamer. Weekend get togethers and cook outs at the Kiln house. Gary - no doubt loved life and I am grateful for all the times I did have with you guys (12 + years) of memories. Gary will forever be with all of us and with me. My prayers are with all of you .

This is my man, Gary your here with me today as you were yesterday, I feel lost without out you, Your relationships with you Wife, your Father, your Children, your in-laws and out laws, your grand children could not be stronger than they are right now ! What a shock to hear what happened! My brother was a neighbor of Gary' s . His name was Philip Bouchon. Philip passed in 2009 . But he loved his neighbors in the Kiln. He always had crazy stories like the time when Kiln Bill's first went up for sale, I think he said that Gary was thinking of buying it, and calling it THURMAN'S ! I asked who is Thurman ? Philip said nobody, he just likes the name ! What a wonderful family , I think Gary's dad married my high school friend Denise Montenay ! I pray that God helps everyone through this !! Love.
