Ms. Rivette was always an encouragement and a friendly face when we went to Harahan church. She loved to visit with my boys and always had a kind word for me. She loved the children. Thank you for so much, you are missed. Until we meet again in Paradise!

Martha Jane and Fred, (we went to Kenner Jr. High together and I was in the band with Martha Jane), I'm sos sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I will always remember her as a woman full of compassion, and recall how much fun she was away from "work." I had occasion to run into her in the mall and other places after graduation from GKHS, and she would ALWAYS ask how I was doing and we would reminisce on fun things that happenend. She remembered my mom ( from parent meetings and functions at Kenner Jr. High) where they were "just' parents of students. She loved you both so much and I pray that you will be comforted in knowing she is at peace and had such a POSITIVE impact on so many lives. Most Sincerely,

I am one of the many students from Grace King who remember Mrs. Rivette. I graduated in 1974 and she was one of the Administrators at that time. I look back with very fond memories of those years. GKHS, because of Mrs. Rivette and Velma Kemp, was the finest school in Louisiana under their tutelage. I was one of those to be blessed with their devotion.

Margaret Thatcher once said, "Being a leader is like being a lady. If you have to say you are, you're not." Florence Rivette was never question on either point. RIP Mrs Rivette. Tens of thousands of men and woman are better because of your work

Ms. Flo will be greatly missed at church. I loved looking out from the piano bench to see her and Mr Joe sitting there in the congregation. I missed them when they were not there. I will miss you Ms. Flo, but will see you on the other side. Hope she is enjoying some lively toe tapping gospel music! I know she has touch the lives of so many. Glad she was able to touch mine.

Mrs. Rivette was an awesome principal. The culture at Grace King during her tenure was better than most private and Catholic schools at that time. I remember those years of my life as being some of my favorite. She will be missed.

What a wonderful principal thru my years at Grace King. Flo (she gave me the look every time I called her that)was the most involved, caring, fun lady to have known in my younger life. May she rest in peace and her family find prayers and support thru this sad time.
