Wanda Bailey Morel, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, she was 62 years old. Beloved wife of Ralph Joseph Morel, Jr. Mother of Ralph J. Morel, III (Michelle); Stephanie Morel Cernich (Joey); Joseph L. Morel; and Russell A. Morel (Enjolie). Daughter of Jewel Kabel Bailey and the late Wallace August Bailey, Sr. Sister of Joan Bailey; Theresa Goodey; and Wallace A. Bailey, Jr. Also survived by her loving grandchildren: Dylan; Taylor; Rhyan; Sydney; Enjelle; numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West (In Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, LA, on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, La. Visitation on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. My heart is hurting for you, Bailey and Morel families! The picture of her is beautiful and the way I will remember her. Always smiling and I loved her laugh too. She had a beautiful soul all her life and she loved her family so much, I know it was hard for her to leave you. My cousin Wanda so very sweet, happy, and optimistic. She had a laugh that you just wanted to hear again and again. I was so grateful to catch up with her at the engagement party. We reminisced of old time memories and laughed as we both recalled a firework mishap when we were little.
