Juanita Virgie Williams

Juanita Virgie Dauterive Williams entered her Heavenly home on December 21, 2016. Born on July 11, 1924 in New Orleans and was a resident of Covington for the last 30 years. She was the daughter of John Dauterive and Mary Merigoni Dauterive; wife of 54 years to the late Walter Williams; mother of Dr. Gerald (Jerry) Williams (Chris), Walter Williams (Susan), and Daniel Williams (Terri). Juanita is also survived by her sister June Daray; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Diane and Wayne Plaisance for many years of friendship and kindness. Also, thank you to Canon Hospice and Joanne's Golden Girls of Pearl River, LA for their loving care during this past year. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Juanita's name to Father Francis Seelos Foundation, 919 Josephine St. New Orleans, LA 70130. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. service on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
