Words can't begin to say how much he meant to me. He was the best dad anyone could ever ask for. Although I wish I could have had more time with him I know everything happens for a reason and I'll make the most of the time given to me so that I can make him proud.

I met Malcolm in pensacola. He made an immediate impression on me. He was a kind and gentle person. One of the smartest people I have ever met. The world is gonna miss such a bright and generous person. Rest in peace

Cornell Buddy. Malcom. Friend, character, marched to his own drummer. Brave in a way we all wish we were. A devastating loss, but less so because you lived your life in a "reach for the stars " way that few of us would have the guts to even attempt. Proud that you were my friend Malcolm. Proud that I got into a fight at college defending you too. I'd do it again tomorrow. I wish I could. Rock on. Spencer Levy.

One of the most intelligent people I have ever met and a truly larger than life personality. But what I will never forget him for is fulfilling his obligations and commitments when, under terrible personal and business circumstances, he easily could have turned his back. I have rarely encountered people with that degree of honor. Rest In Peace, Malcolm. You will live on in the hearts and minds of so many of us that got our start in the film industry because of you.

Many years after law school Malcolm and I, and Nathalie Simon and Romina Pailey,all met up in Paris for the best pre-Christmas trip I have ever had. We had laughs, food, good conversation, adventures and lots of champagne. Only a vacation that could be had with old friends that knew you before you had anything--when a warm night, an Abita beer and good company was all that mattered. Memorable indeed. Malcolm I will miss you!!

Although I haven't spoken to Malcolm in awhile we texted. I will miss his wit and wisdom. I met him at a time of need and he became a friend. We were campers and fellow Jews. I will miss him and shocked at his untimely death. I don't even know how to say anything that would comfort his family.
