Lawrence Rodney Nulty

Lawrence Rodney Nulty passed peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the age of 87. He was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of River Ridge where he was a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and later retired from the Jefferson Parish Department of Streets as a Superintendent III. Beloved husband of 66 years to Marilyn Forest Nulty. Loving father of Lawrence G. Nulty (Marilyn), Geralyn Nulty Lips (Robert), Patrick G. Nulty (Paula) and the late Timothy G. Nulty. Grandfather of Christine Foley (Joedy Wyble), Rebecca Foley, Benjamin G. Foley (Allison Staiger), Elizabeth Nulty, Katie Parrott (Chad), Patrice Nulty and Paige Nulty. Also survived by 8 great-granchildren and many nieces and nephews. Son of the late William F. Nulty and Mary Adele Belletto. Brother of the late William Lloyd Nulty. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 500 Minor St., Kenner at 12:00 noon.
