Troy Cooks Obituary

Troy Alvin Cooks departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the age of 29. Son of Alvin Scott, Troy Yvonne Cooks and Tyronne F. Jones, Sr.; father of Ke'wan Kemichael Cooks; brother of Kemichael Cooks, Johqual Cooks, Alvin Kinney, Jasmine Scott and Alaya Scott; nephew of Beverly Cooks, George Cooks, Melvin Bolden, Jamar Armstrong, the late Brian Scott, Gregory Cooks and Leroy Cooks; grandson of Adele Cook, the late Herman Gray Bolden and Mary Scott, Davis Scott. He is also survived by one nephew, Nolan Anthony Cason, Jr., three nieces, Alexandrian, Avery and Ashlyn Kinney and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers and members of City Church and Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries, also employees of Tableau Restaurant are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries, 4400 St. Charles Ave. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am. Interment: Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements by D. W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. Please visit www.rhodesfuneral.com to sign the guestbook.
