The six of us Bruggeman children were blessed with two EXCEPTIONAL parents. We may not have had much monetarily growing up, but we had SO much more. We were rich with love, and kindness, and generosity, and acceptance, and privacy, and respect. We embraced " family". That is why when our mother went to be with the Lord, we were taken aback. Mom and Dad were like vice grips. When one is missing, the other cannot contain what they were holding together. We needed them. Still do! And now that they are together again, we six are back strong! We owe them that! If one falls, we must in honor of our parents, pick the fallen one up. The two oldest will now be expected to be the vice grips. They CAN and WILL do just that. I am so proud and privileged to.be a part of this family!

Dear Larry, Mary, Brenda, Janie, Jim, and Lisa,
I was sorry to hear of Uncle Charlie's passing. I know only too well what it's like when the man who was "Daddy" goes away. The fact that it's inevitable doesn't make it any easier. I hope the love of family and friends will comfort you, and the knowledge that Uncle Charlie is with Aunt Liz now, and at peace. My deepest sympathy to you and your spouses and kids.
