FREMONT: Kimberly Kay McClure, 56, of Fremont, OH passed away at home on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 after a short battle with cancer.

Kim was born on January 6, 1957 in Fremont, the daughter of Robert and Faye (Baumer) McClure. She was a 1975 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Kim worked as a Secretary for the City of Fremont for twenty-three years of which she worked eighteen years at the Water & Sewage Plant and five years at the City Engineering Department. Kim enjoyed working in her yard planting flowers and vegetables, traveling with her sisters and most of all spending time with her grandsons.

Kim is survived by her loving daughter, Rochelle Berndt, Fremont, OH; and two grandsons, Jace and Jordan who were the love of her life. She is also survived by sisters, Mary Lou (John) Engelsen, North Canton, OH, Barbara (Dick) Dundore, Orlando, FL, Carol (Roy) Wilton, Palm Springs, CA; brother, Timothy (Carla) McClure, Fremont, OH; many nephews, nieces and cousins whom she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bob McClure.

In honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 31, 2013 from Noon until 2:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont. Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Fr. Michael Zacharias officiating. A luncheon will follow at St. Ann Catholic Church Hall.

The family wishes to thank her Doctors and Nurses at North Coast Cancer Care Center, Hospice of Memorial Hospital and Dr. Balaa at Memorial Pulmonary Associates.
