GREEN SPRINGS: Amanda R. Hanover, 29, of Green Springs, OH passed away at her home on Friday, February 10, 2012 surrounded by her family.

She was born November 25, 1982 in Fremont, OH to Albert "Moose" and Betty (Wampler) Silva. Amanda was a 2001 graduate of Clyde High School. She married Jason Hanover on November 13, 2004 at Triumph Foundation Church in Fremont. Amanda worked for Wal-Mart in the Jewelry Department for five years before leaving to raise her children. She was a member at The Church on 53 and Campfire. Amanda loved spending time with her family, especially her children. She enjoyed traveling and going to concerts. Amanda collected panda bears and Lucille Ball memorabilia. She and her husband were involved in setting a world record for the most Lucille Ball look alikes in one place at one time.

Amanda was first and foremost an amazing mother. She was also a loving wife and friend. She was kind, compassionate, unselfish, humble and always put others before herself. Her faith and hope in the darkest of situations is and will always be an inspiration to many people who knew her. She loved God and had an amazing relationship with Jesus Christ. She is currently residing in heaven with Jesus and is smiling down on all those people she loved so much.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Jason; and two children, Madison R. Hanover and Landon S. Hanover, Green Springs, OH; parents, Albert "Moose" and Betty Silva, Green Springs, OH; siblings, Kevin Silva, Rossford, OH, Melanie (Derek) Frey, Clyde, OH, Yuko Nishimura, Japan; father and mother-in-law, Scott and Anna Hanover; sister-in-laws, Jessica and Kristine Hanover; grandparents, Sonny and Betty Spaulding all of Fremont, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Wise and Barbara Wampler, Emilie Silva and Inez Garza.

Visitation: Wednesday, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420. Service: Thursday, February 16, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at The Church on 53, 1105 County Road 41, Fremont, OH with Pastor Matt Coutcher officiating. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service at the church. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery.
