FREMONT: Audrey M. Baker, 79, of Fremont died Sunday morning, February 23, 2014 at Bethesda Care Center.
She was born September 16, 1934 in Sandusky, OH, the daughter of Alva R. and Lenora I. (Parker) Stiles. Audrey was a 1952 graduate of Sandusky High School and retired from Foodtown Grocery Stores after 18 years of service. On June 14, 1952 she married Robert W. Baker in Amarillo, TX.
Audrey enjoyed painting ceramics; her most impressive collection was a complete Christmas Village which she displayed year around in her home. As a member of the Kin Hunters, Audrey completed extensive family research and enjoyed day trips with her husband to gather more information at area libraries. She shared her genealogy knowledge by volunteering at Hayes Presidential Center Library.
Surviving is her husband of 62 years, Robert W. Baker of Fremont, OH; son Rick (Karry) Baker of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Andrea Bork-Baker of Maybe, MI, Brandon Baker of Toledo, OH; great-grandchildren, Kaytlynn and Riley Rose Baker of Maybe, MI, Elijah, Brayden and Nevaeh Baker of Toledo,OH; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 11:00A.M. -1:00P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio. Funeral services will begin at 1:00P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
