Claudia K. McFann
FREMONT: Claudia K. McFann, 79, of Sun Valley Dr., Fremont passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 at her home. She was born on June 23, 1933 in Fremont, the daughter of Bernard and Lulu (Schneider) Wolfe and attended St. Joseph Catholic schools.
Claudia married her first husband, James Baumer and he died March 2, 1972. She then married Lowell McFann on December 27, 1973 in Woodville, OH and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2009.
Claudia worked at H.J. Heinz Company for many years until she retired. She enjoyed bingo and volunteered at the YMCA for bingo nights. She also enjoyed casinos and internet café's.
Claudia is survived by her children, Cindy (Dick) Reineck, Karen Retter, Lisa (Ken Henry) Hilty, all of Fremont, OH; siblings, Betty Swartz and Madeline Freeh, both of Fremont, OH; step children, Jan Graham of California, Terri Ackerman, Sally Judd and Randy McFann, all of Aurora, CO; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Baumer; second husband, Lowell McFann; son, James Baumer; brothers, Robert and Ralph Wolf; son-in-law, Scott Retter.
Visitation: Saturday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Sunday, September 2, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Thomas Ackerman officiating.
