OLD FORT: Donna K. Ryman, 87, of Old Fort, died at 6:13 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
Donna was born in Grand Ledge, MI, on December 10, 1925, to the late Forest Glen and Mary Elizabeth (Edwards) DeMoss. She married Harold Ryman and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Steven L. (Susan) of Tiffin, Ronald L. (Rosemary) Ryman of Bowling Green, Kevin H. (Debra) Ryman of Tiffin; a daughter, Janeen A. (Joe) Jackson of Tiffin; eight grandchildren, Sean (Christine) Ryman, Stephanie (Toby) Lombardo, Brent (Erin) Ryman, Brian (Cassandra) Ryman, Julie (Randy) Smith, Jyl (Nick) Zeis, Justin Trautman, Brent Jackson, six great-grandchildren, Gianna Lombardo, Grant, Cooper, Madeline Smith, Mia and Ari Zeis; two brothers, Wayne DeMoss of Phoenix, AZ and Jack DeMoss of Tiffin.
Donna was a homemaker and a member of the Fort Seneca Community United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Come Join Us Club and also the Women's club at church. Donna also volunteered at the library at Old Fort Elementary School.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Kyle Ryman; and a brother, Raymond DeMoss.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Tiffin with Pastor Becky Jones officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Tuesday, at Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Seneca Community United Church of Christ.
