FREMONT: Eleanor LeMaitre 88 of Fremont passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Valley View Health Care Center.

She was born on March 16, 1925 in Fremont to William and Martha Elizabeth (Sharp) Jarvis. Eleanor attended Fremont Ross and on September 7, 1943 she married Donald LeMaitre in Fremont and he preceded her in death on October 6, 1984.

She was a member of Grace Community Church, avid bowler, shuffle board, pinochle, loved traveling and going on cruises. Eleanor wintered in Clearwater, FL where she would volunteer organizing trips for seniors in Ohio and Florida for many years. She enjoyed visiting the VFW and Eagles. Eleanor enjoyed the family alpaca farm where she loved every aspect of being around the animals especially fond of their alpaca "Miss Ellie". Eleanor's world revolved around her two sons, being a family lady she loved her family and would do anything for them. She would always get her "toes in the sand" every year!
