FREMONT: Jennie F. Clouser, 96, of Fremont, died Tuesday evening at the Bellevue Hospital. She was born January 15, 1915 in Mercer County, Ohio.
After graduating from Bowling Green State University, Jennie taught in the Fremont School system for 30 years. She was a life-long member of Trinity United Methodist Church and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her son, Ruel Clouser, Jr. of Fremont, OH; son-in-law, Gene Nitschke of Brookings, SD; granddaughter, Jennifer (Eddie) Lenos of Dayton, OH; grandsons, Dann Nitschke of Volga, SD and Nicholas (Michelle) Nitschke of Cambridge, MA; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death husbands, Robert W. Eckert on November 21, 1944 and Ruel E. Clouser, Sr. on November 30, 1963; and her daughter, Izetta L. Nitsche on January 16, 2010.
In accordance with Jennie's wishes her body has been donated to the Case Western Reserve anatomical donation program. A memorial service and luncheon will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 204 N. Wayne Street, Fremont. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont was entrusted with the privilege of serving Jennie's family.
