Michael Ward Obituary

CLYDE - Michael E. Ward, 59, of Clyde died unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Memorial Hospital in Fremont.
Mr. Ward was born in Napoleon, Ohio on April 15, 1950 to Richard and Shirley (Good) Ward. He graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1968. He worked for thirty three years for the Chrysler Corp. retiring in 2001.
Michael was a member of the Clyde Eagles, where he served as the treasurer. He enjoyed all car racing, including NASCAR and dirt as well as music.
Survivors include his wife, Anna (Earhart) Ward, whom he married on December 13, 2003; his father, Richard of Bowling Green; two daughters, Angie (Luther) Cork, Toledo, Amy Warner, Cincinnati; two sons, Adam Ward, Bowling Green, and Evan Ward, Colorado; five grandchildren; two step children, Timothy Perry and Melodee (Brad) Milleson, both of Clyde; and six step grandchildren; also surviving are his siblings, Pamela (John) Winters, and Lisa Ward, both of Findlay, Richard (Monica) Ward, Arizona, Cheryl Peper, Bowling Green, and David Ward, Jacksonville, FL; His father-in-law, Woodrow Earhart survives in Clyde.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ward May; and a brother, Timothy Lee Ward.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. David Gowen officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
Memorials may be made to the Sandusky Co. Humane Society.
