FREMONT: Robert L. Mulcahy, Jr., 70, of CR 212, Fremont, OH passed away on September 28, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 8, 1942 in Fremont, OH to the late Leo Francis and Luella (Reed) Mulcahy.
Bob served in the US Army from 1959 to 1967 were he received the M1 Rifle Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge with one bar, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Sharpshooter (Rifle) Badge. He married Judith L. Overmyer on March 23, 1963 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont, OH, and she survives.
Bob was a truck driver for the Teamsters Local 20 for over thirty years until he retired from Roadway Express in Toledo, OH in 2004. He was a member of the Fremont Eagles and loved to watch TV.
Bob is survived by his wife, Judy Mulcahy, Fremont; children, Carla (Tom) Waggoner, Fremont, Chris (Annette) Mulcahy, Prior Lake, MN, Chad Mulcahy, Sr., Fremont; brother, Ron Reed, Fremont; grandchildren, Joshua, Derek and Bradley Waggoner, Destinee and Chad Mulcahy, Jr.; and great granddaughter, Ainslee Waggoner.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH. The funeral ceremony will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial:Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.
