Rosemary "Snip" M. Dahms
FREMONT: Rosemary "Snip" M. Dahms, 64, of Napoleon Rd, Fremont passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 13, 1948 in Carey, OH, the daughter of Richard and Audrey (Hendricks) Wenzinger.
Snip married her first husband, Stephen Dible;and they had two children, Michael John Dible and Adam Richard Dible. Stephen preceded her in death. She later married Richard "Dick" D. Dahms, Jr. on November 4, 2000 and he survives.
Snip worked for Fremont City Schools as a Teacher's Aide and Bus Aide. She was also a School Bus Driver for seventeen years in Carey, OH and a Sales Clerk at Nickel's Bakery. Snip was a member of Women of The Moose and VFW Ladies Auxiliaries, Steam Gang and Sandusky County Hawkeyes M.L. She loved fishing, gardening, and baking, especially for the Sandusky County Fair, and her beloved dog, Bullseye.
Snip is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" D. Dahms, Jr.; son, Adam R. (Tiffany Bennett) Dible; step son, Jerry (Karen Skedgell) Dahms, all of Fremont, OH; siblings, Earl (Cindy) Wenzinger, Tom (Bev) Wenzinger, Christine Rader, all of Carey, OH and Johnny Michael Wenzinger, Upper Sandusky, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael John Dible; brothers, Dave and Gerald "Butch" Wenzinger.
Visitation: Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Friday, August 31, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH. There will be a visitation at the funeral home in Carey, from 9 to 11 a.m., prior to the service.
Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey, OH. Memorials: Fabry Support Info Group (FSIG), PO Box 510, Concordia MO 64020 or Hospice of Memorial Hospital-Hearts Desire Fund.
