To our second mom on the Police Department, Sally was the one who always checked in on her "Boys" when we were out serving Green Springs. She always made sure we were fed by bringing in treats, and always kept a close eye on us, and most of all keeping us under Big Earlies' radar. She had seen many of us officers come and go, but she treated us like her own kids, when we left she constantly checked up on us and demanded we come over to see her when she was at the P.D. to see how we were. When we came up she always broke down and told us how much she missed us, to this day I could always hear her say, "Follow me home to make sure your safe." I never knew what she meant until your are not there anymore. Sally was a wonderful woman, she gave more of herself making sure people who has less has what they needed, raised a wonderful family, and was a great friend. To Boss Earlie, Mike, and the rest of the family, you have my deepest sympathy, Green Springs lost a wonderful woman, Keep watching over us Sal!

God Bless you Momma Sally!

I knew Sally (as I called her)while working at the Seneca Co Sheriff's office. I was also married to a Green Springs Police Officer. Sally was a wonderful woman, quick with a joke and always concerned with those she met. I used to spend hours talking to her while she was working as a dispatcher for the village when I was off work. She will be greatly missed, but what a honor it was to have known and loved her. My deepest sympathies.
