Verna M. Sander
BRADNER: Verna M. Sander, age 86, of Bradner, OH passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Otterbein-Portage, Pemberville OH.
She was born on August 3, 1925 in Toledo, OH to Ervin and Estella (Roe) Ruch, Sr. As a child and young adult she was an acrobat with a circus. Her memberships included Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH and the Stitch and Chatter Club of Sandusky County.
Surviving Verna are her sons, Jeff Sander of Risingsun, OH, Chuck (Patti) Sander of Stony Ridge, OH, Carl (Sheri) Sander of Old Fort, OH; son-in-law, Kenneth Dick of Clyde, OH; 12 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn Gerwin of Bradner, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Craig Sander; daughter, Roxanne Dick; brother, Ervin Ruch, Jr.; sisters, Leola Croak and Gerry Romstadt.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM from Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH where there will be additional visitation from 10:00 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Musteric. Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services.
