Phyllis A. Reep
CLYDE: Phyllis A. Reep, 80, of Clyde died at her home on Friday, April 4, 2014.
Mrs. Reep was born on the home place in Clyde on October 26, 1933 to the late Melvin and Helen (Wollenslagel) Gilbert. She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. In 1951, she graduated from York High School.
On June 13, 1954, she married Mark J. Reep. He survives along with a son, David (Carol) Reep, Upper Sandusky and daughter, Ruth (Dan) Lenarz, Green Springs; four grandchildren, Tory Reep, Anthony Reep; Janess (Keith) Hemm and Caleb (Angie) Rice. Five great grandchildren, Tyler, Thomas, Samantha, Brennan and Aiden also survive. One brother, Dean Gilbert of Clyde survives as well.
Phyllis had been the secretary for the Cambridge District of the United Methodist Church until her retirement. She enjoyed reading and traveling to anywhere.
Mrs. Reep was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul David and a brother, Dale Gilbert in 1991.
Visitation will be on Sunday April 6, 2014 from 4-8:00 PM at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Scott McCuthcheon and Rev. Charles Yost. Burial will be in Green Springs Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
