Richard S. Cleveland

GREEN SPRINGS: Richard S. Cleveland, 88, of Green Springs, died at the Elmwood Healthcare Center on Friday, June 6, 2014.

Richard was born in Ballville Twp., on July 13, 1925 to the late Orile and Elta (Hurdic) Cleveland. He was a 1942 graduated of the Green Springs High School.

Mr. Cleveland was a member of the Green Springs United Methodist Church and the VFW and American Legion, both of Green Springs. He had served with the Marine Corps from 1943-1946. He had worked at the former Fremont Kraut Co. and then had owned the R&R Service Center in Tiffin for camper service.

On September 27, 1952, he married Dolores June Burman. She preceded him in death on November 24, 2004.

Surviving is a daughter, Rachelle Roscioli, Green Springs; granddaughter, Angela Roscioli; and three great grandchildren, Aaron, Katrina and Cassandra.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Harold Cleveland and sister, Vivian Meyers.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Green Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Green Springs Cemetery with military rites provided by the Seneca Co. United Veterans Council.
