This group promoted pork products and enjoyed friendships at the Country Kitchen each year during the fair. She was a 4-H advisor for 10 years. She also volunteered at the Jackson Twp. Board of Elections and Fremont Food Pantry.
Barbara was co-chairman of the family Relay for Life Team "Fishing for a Cure".
She was a member of Millersville, St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister, PSR teacher, and member of the funeral committee and choir. She was also active in Fremont Deanery Serra Club.
Barbara, along with her husband, enjoyed family vacations in Amish County, Outer Banks in North Carolina, Northern Michigan and fishing on Lake Erie. They enjoyed holidays as well as social and school activities with the family.
