FREMONT: William Lytle, 88, of Fremont died early Monday morning at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born May 26, 1924 in Fremont the son of Robert and Anna Rose (Kelly) Lytle.

He was a 1942 graduate of Ross High School. He was a Commissioned Officer in the US Navy and served in the Pacific during WWII. Bill married Ruth Loudenslagel on August 7, 1946 in Sandusky, OH. He was a fourth generation partner in Lytle's Men's Clothing in Fremont for many years. Bill was very involved in the community, being a member of: St. Joseph Church, Past President of Rotary Club, Fremont Outing Club, Fremont Elks, and Rockwell Springs Trout Club. His smile and sense of humor was contagious to all who's lives he touched.

He is survived by his daughters, Christine (John) Farley of Bexley, OH and Deborah (George) Wenger of Westlake, OH; daughter-in-law, Tracy K. Lytle of Fremont; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Lytle; son, Robert W. Lytle; sister, Nora Jane Fangboner.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00AM Monday, September 24, 2012 at St. Joseph Church with Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. A private family burial will follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rob Lytle Meaningful, Activity, and Caring Center, 1611 North Street, Fremont, OH 43420.

We would like to acknowledge Donna and Richard Norris and Rick McKinley for all the wonderful care and love shown to our father over the years.
