FREMONT: William D. Isaman was born August 24, 1944 in Mansfield, Ohio. He lost his struggle to cancer on April 21, 2013.

He was the beloved husband to Patricia (Bowers) Isaman; and loving father of William E. and W. Derek. His parents, Ella and Roy Isaman; and sister, Carroll Stimens, preceded him in death. He is survived by siblings Susan Ermentrout, and Wyatt Lockman, both of Mansfield.
Bill was self-employed for many years before working as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Sandusky County.
He was a boxing coach in Fremont with the Recreation Department. Bill always had a strong dedication to youth. He was instrumental in starting the Fremont Wreckers Boxing Club. He spent countless weekends traveling the country in a van loaded with kids. Bill provided positive guidance and enhanced life experiences for so many boys.
In retirement, Bill enjoyded spending time with nine grandchildren, traveling, boating, fishing, golfing, bowling, and following his Buckeyes.
His funeral service will be May 4th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marblehead, Ohio. A celebration of his life at Port Clinton Moose Club on May 5th at 2:00 p.m.
