Gabriella "Gaby" Rubie Rojas

FREMONT: Gabriella "Gaby" Rubie Rojas, 26, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born on October 6, 1990 in Bellevue to Prisciliano and Sherel L. (Sanchez-Rosas) Rojas Jr.

Gaby graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 2009 where she enjoyed playing soccer, and was currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree from Terra Community College. She worked at Woodforest Bank, and was a member of St. Joseph Church.

Gaby had dual citizenship for both Mexico and the United States. Her family was her world, and she dedicated her life to raising her children while both studying and working. She loved spending time with her sisters watching movies, and was always taking her children with her wherever she went. Gaby loved going to Mexico and spending time with her family there. Gabriella had a heart of gold and her smile could light up a room.

Gabriella is survived by, her three loving children, Maurico E. Valois-Rojas Jr., Alicia Valois-Rojas, and Sofia Valois-Rojas; parents, Prisciliano and Sherel Rojas Jr.; siblings, Alexandra Rojas, Vanessa Rojas, Samanntha Rojas all of Fremont, and Maria Rojas of Toledo; nephew and niece, Nohlan and Mia Andrade; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, too numerous to name from Mexico and here in the United States.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Juan G. Rosas, and Prisciliano Rojas Sr.; uncle, Joe Sanchez; and cousin, Ramiro Sanchez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A Mass of Resurrection will be said on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Donations may be given to the care of Gaby's children c/o their grandmother, Sherel Rojas.
