Wilma L. Alvey, 78, of Eastview, formerly of Hart County and Louisville, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Mary Alice Wright; her husband, Earnest Alvey; two sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra (Rondel) Alvey of Eastview; a son, Kenneth (Joan) Alvey of Elizabethtown; a sister, Virgie Geralds of Glasgow; a brother, Curtis Wright of Louisville; and a grandson, Joseph Bolgiano of Crossville, Tenn.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Ma-nakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Steve Atwell, officiating. Burial follows in Cub Run Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Wilma was a great lady and will be greatly missed. I loved the five years I lived beside Wilma and Debbie, we had many great times together. I pray for Debbie,Kenny, and the rest of the family during this hard time that the Lord will be with them and help them during this time. Rest In Peace Wilma, I love you and already miss you, but will see you again someday in Heaven.

Wilma was greatly loved,by lois, Wilma's niece, she was one of the kindest persons from the Wright family, and the alvey family. You will be missed for all the days of your family's life. Debbie and Kenny, May God hold you two in His hands during this time of sorrow.
