Sympathy to his immediate family. East Hardin will forever miss a wonderful teacher, coach, administrator and true friend. His humorous personality and fun character will definitely be missed this year on our 8th grade Washington DC trip, field day, and last day at glendale park as well as many years to come.
Brent... THANK YOU for your support in my classroom as well as with the cheer squad. I am forever grateful for knowing you. Blessings can not be counted. I have enjoyed all the wonderful memories...I will miss you.

It's amazing that one person can touch so many lives. We are a military family, and though we have only been here for 3 years, Mr. Wagoner has touched the lives of two of my children. He pushed my son to try-out for basketball, and gave him a hard time b/c he wanted him to play for East next school year, but we have to move. All of the stories that my son has told me about him are that of an amazing man. Middle schoolers are a unique group of kids, and he did an amazing job at making every child feel special, and forced them to be their best! I will encourage my son to strive to be the type of student/athlete that Mr. Wagoner would be proud of in memory of him! Prayers for the family and the faculty/staff and students of East Hardin!

Things I'll remember about Mr. Wagoner, Coach Wagoner, Brent, Swags, or Swagoner: the DC trip, being thrown from his truck helping him with Glendale Days, my boys(Sam & David) enjoyed him & his class, and the talks we had about God, politics, and life. Grace and peace to his family and friends.

Brent, was an amazing man. He treated everyone in East with the same respect and would listen to every problem or situation they were facing. He also saw the goodness in those kids hearts, pulling forward the positive out of them to make life better for them each day. Brent was a great friend to all of us staff, never walking away and listening carefully, he gave thoughtful and fun advise to us all. He also was a hugger, he had a loving way and would hug everyone. Brent wagoner will deeply be missed, but celebrate his life! You know that is what he would want! Miss you buddy.

Mr. Wagoner was not only my principle he was my friend, I always knew that I could talk to him about anything that was going on. He always greeted not only me but every student with a smile and good morning. He taught me to be confident in myself, and to never give up. I, with so many others will miss him very much. Keep smiling on all of us from Heaven.

Mr. Wagoner was an important role model for me.. always teaching me to put others before myself. And he did just that. Anything I ever needed, he was always there for me. I plan to use what he taught me to make others' lives better. That's what he'd want.
