Tonietti, Daniel J. - Glendale  
Daniel J. Tonietti, 68, of Glendale, passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Terrytown, New York, to James and Sadie Tonietti. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a technology specialist for the Hardin County School Board and had worked at the Delbert Best Body Shop for 25-plus years. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and a brother, Joseph Angelo "Jimmy" Tonietti. He is survived by his loving wife, Becky Tonietti of Glendale; two daughters, Michelle (Jason) Tonietti-Goodman of Glendale and Andi Tonietti of Elizabethtown; a sister, Joanne (Elio) CeCecchis of Tarrytown; a brother, Joseph John (Leona) Tonietti of Pembroke Pines, Florida; and five grandchildren, Drew Goodman, Nolan Goodman, Marleigh Goodman, Sophia Tonietti and Giana Guzman. The funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Glendale Christian Church with Brothers Mike Bell and Jeff Gaines officiating. Burial with military honors follows at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Manakee Funeral Home in is in charge of arrangements.

Almo Thomas Thompson, 85, of Boston, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Survivors include his fiancé, Norma Hagan; and four sons, Steve Thomspon, Charles Thompson, Larry Thompson and Tommy Thompson. The funeral is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction. Burial follows in Lebanon Junction City Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and continues at 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A Masonic service is at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Tyree, Irma Anna (Baur) - Elizabethtown  
Irma Anna Baur Tyree, 85, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at Helmwood Healthcare Center. She was a native of Stuttgart, Germany. She worked at Boone's Laundry and was past president of the Purple Heart Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Abel Tyree; her parents, Friedrich Robert and Franziska Jager Baur; two brothers, Robert and Willy Baur; a sister, Elisabeth Cline; and a grandchild, Ashley Ann Tyree. She is survived by a daughter, Carmen (Terry) Bailey of Rineyville; two sons, Ronald (Jeanine) Tyree of Houston, Texas, and Mike (Brenda) Tyree of Lexington; four grandchildren, Joey, Kevin, Ryan and Tammy; and 11 great-grandchildren. A graveside service is at noon Sunday with Carolyn Buckles officiating at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
