Lawless, Billy Dean - Hodgenville  
Billy Dean Lawless, 76, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at his residence. He was a member of Hodgenville United Methodist Church. He was retired from dairy, grain and tobacco farming and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Omra and Marie Snow Lawless. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diane Akridge Lawless; a daughter, Lisa (Ben) Terry of Elizabethtown; a son, Kelly (Denise) Lawless of Hodgenville; five grandchildren, Katie Perkins of Mobile, Alabama, Emily Perkins of Elizabethtown, Whitley (Caleb) Phelps, Michael Lawless and Keith Lawless, all of Hodgenville; two stepgrandchildren, Megan Cox of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Joel (Amanda) Terry of Union; a great-granddaughter, Norah Grace Phelps, three stepgreat-grandchildren, Emery Cox, Greyson Terry and Rylen Terry; and a sister, Betty Stevens of Adelanto, California. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Revs. Mike Akridge and Sharon Bailey officiating. Burial follows in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
