Karle B. Moulden, 67, of Edmonton, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Glasgow Health & Rehabilitation. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Sue Robinson Moulden; two daughters, Dulcie Puckett and Faith Ann Girard; and two sons, Karle Moulden IV and John M. Moulden. The funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday at Glen Lily Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Joe Murphy Jr. and Pastor Tim Gribbins officiating. Interment follows in Linwood Memorial Gardens in Linwood. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the church.

Priddy, Marie - Elizabethtown  
Marie Priddy, 82, of Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born in Upton to Oscar and Addie Fields Priddy. She was a certified nursing aide and a member of Center Point Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharon Johnson; three brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by three sons, William (Sheryl) Priddy of Morgantown, Indiana, Roger Riggs of Upton and Randy (Donna) Riggs of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Patty Bruce of Upton and Charlotte Jackson of Rineyville; 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Upton with the Rev. Earl Sanders officiating. Burial follows in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton and continues from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the church.

Shoemake, Daryl Clayton - Elizabethtown  
Daryl Clayton Shoemake, 32, of Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 10, 1982. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at Phillips-Robinson Hadley Chapel, 1700 Hadley Ave. in Old Hickory, Tennessee. A celebration of life will be held from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at his residence in Elizabethtown.

Walters, Ralph LaRue - Elizabethtown  
Ralph Larue Walters, 71, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, May 23, 2015, at his residence. He was a native of Hardin County and was a 1962 graduate of Glendale High School. He was an engineer and a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Walters; and a sister, Joyce Ann French. He is survived by his wife, the former Jane RobinĀ­son Davis of Elizabethtown; a son, Robbie (Jenny) Walters of Elizabethtown; a stepson, Scott (Angie) Davis of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Sandy Patrick of Louisville and Cheryl (Alberto) Franco of Tampa, Florida; a stepdaughter, Kristie Guess of Elizabethtown; a sister, Barbara (Louis) Bishop of Eastview; a brother, Jim (Mary Rose) Walters of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Cole Walters, Carrie Walters, Kaitlyn Davis, Will Davis, Silas Guess and Anna Guess; and a brother-in-law, Doug French of Elizabethtown. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Valley Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial follows in Valley Creek Cemetery. Bender, Lawrence W. - Central City  
Lawrence W. Bender, 69, of Central City, passed away May 23, 2015, at Baptist Health Center in Madisonville. He was born Dec. 15, 1944, in Denver, Colorado, to Lawrence M. Bender and Betty Jane Bender Gunn. He graduated from Tell City (Indiana) High School, attended Indiana State University and received a bachelor's degree from Brescia University and a masters of art degree from Western Kentucky University. Mr. Bender worked for Muhlenberg County Board of Education as a teacher at Bremen High School and Muhlenberg North High School and as the district technology coordinator. He served a term as president of the Muhlenberg County Education Association. Larry was a member of Central City First United Methodist Church where he was a founding and current member of the Praise Team. He served on the board of Habitat for Humanity and was a member of the Lions Club. He was an avid golfer and member of the Central City Country Club. He was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his wife of 47 years, Myra Hardesty Bender; a daughter, Elizabeth (Bill) Lehner of Leesburg, Virginia; a son Lawrence "Hal" (Angie) Bender of Elizabethtown; three granddaughters Katherine, Sarah and Allison Lehner, all of Leesburg, Virginia; a brother, Gene P. (Linda) Bender of Hernando, Florida, brother-in-law, Jerry Hardesty of Owensboro, sisters-in-law, B.J. (Michael) Hardesty-Johnson of Bloomington, Indiana; and Linda (Bill) Kerchusky of Chapin, South Carolina; nieces, Cynda (Curtis) Wood of Owensboro; Julie Anna Kerchusky of Chapin, South Carolina; Brittany (Doug) Renwick of Leesburg, Florida, and one nephew, Brett (Monica) Bender of Mooresville, North Carolina. The funeral is at 2 p.m. CDT Wednesday at Central City First United Methodist Church with Dr. Kevin Brown officiating. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. CDT Tuesday and resumes at noon Wednesday at the church. The family requests sympathy contributions go to Habitat for Humanity and Central City First United Methodist Church. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of the arrangements.

Willow, Thelma Jean (Henderson) - Vine Grove  
Thelma Jean Henderson Willow, 78, of Vine Grove, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Kensington Manor in Elizabethtown. She was born in Meade County on Jan. 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Dalton and Neomia Henderson. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lee A. Willow of Vine Grove; two children, Tim Willow of Vine Grove and Janet Willow Kennedy of Brandenburg; one brother, Marion Henderson of Rineyville; and one sister, Rita Henderson Gray of Vine Grove; and a grandson, Ethan D. Kennedy of Brandenburg. She was a member of Vine Grove Christian Church. She retired from the Hardin County Schools system in 1995. Mrs. Willow's funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, in the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove with Brother Mike Yeast and the Rev. Daniel Lincoln officiating. Burial follows in Vine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home.

Kelton, Griffin James - Greensboro  
Griffin James Kelton, 20, of Greensboro, North Carolina, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Griffin was born Jan. 1, 1995, in Marietta, Georgia, the son of Sallie Davis Kelton and Kyle Kelton. Griffin was a graduate of Grimsley High School, Greensboro, North Carolina where he was active in the lacrosse team, the drum line, played saxophone and was a lunch buddy. More recently Griffin was attending Queens University of Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was on the track team and holds the hammer throw school record. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Greensboro, North Carolina where he was an altar server and active in the youth group and work camp for four years. Griffin enjoyed working out and had a great sense of humor. Griffin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James C. Kelton. Surviving are his parents of Greensboro, North Carolina; brothers, Davis and Samuel Kelton, both of Greensboro, North Carolina; paternal grandmother, Jane Jaggers Kelton of High Point, North Carolina; and his maternal grandparents, Samuel Edward Davis and Jean Wilson Davis of Elizabethtown. A memorial Mass is at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Pius X Catholic Church 2200 N. Elm St. Greensboro, North Carolina, by Monsignor Anthony Marcaccio. Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel in Greensboro, North Carolina and following Mass at the church on Monday.
