Anne Robey Pepper, 83, of Brandenburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012.
Anne was born Feb. 26, 1929, in Owensboro to the late Kittie Stuart and Charles Robey.
She also was preceded in death by her siblings, Gilbert Holbrook, Cynthia Youmans, Sarah Crowe and Belford Robey.
Anne spent her life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her work as a librarian for Meade County School District until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Brandenburg, an avid golfer and a Life Master bridge player.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Stuart Pepper; two daughters, Kittie (Tim) Smith of Brandenburg and Sarah (Dave) Crum of Walkersville, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Joseph (Kimber) Smith, Sarah (Brent) Hottell, Natalie (Adam) Delwiche, Robey Smith, Cynthia Smith, Robert Crum and Aus-tin Crum; and two great-grandchildren, Tanner Hot-tell and Maddie Smith.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. EST Thursday, Nov. 15, at First Baptist Church in Brandenburg. Burial follows in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. EST Wednesday and continues at 8 a.m. EST Thursday at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg.
